When Do Puppies Open Their Eyes
Two and three week old puppies will be able to track objects with their eyes and judge how far away a toy or a moving object is.

For the first two weeks of life newborn puppies are unable to bear their weight so they crawl around on their bellies paddle and try to move their legs and build strength. On average puppies open their eyes 12 16 days after birth. It can be a few days before the ears completely open allowing them to hear properly usually at around 3 weeks of age.
Many novice breeders are interested in puppies opening their eyes. Their eyes will begin to open in the second week of life usually between 10 to 14 days of age. We should not forget that each animal develops with its speed and some puppies may lag behind their brothers and sisters. When do puppies open their eyes.
Their open eyes continue to develop for several more weeks. When the optical nerves have fully finished its development the puppies come out of their comfort zone to address the environment around. One thing to keep in mind your puppy should open their eyes on their own. Eyes can open both in one day and in 3 4 days.
But even then two week old puppies won t see the world clearly.
