When Do Puppies Lose Their Puppy Teeth
Puppies develop and lose this set of baby teeth just like humans do.
When do puppies lose their puppy teeth. Most pups have their full set of teeth by 8 months of age or so. By the time your dog is about 6 months old he or she should have all 48 adult teeth. Loss of baby teeth begins after the puppy is three months old. If he has less or more than normal you should see a vet as this could be a sign of other medical issues in young puppies. Around age 4 6 months puppies will lose their canine teeth which are those sharp little fang teeth.
Sometimes a puppy tooth will stubbornly stay in place even when the adult tooth is fully emerged behind it. When do puppies lose their baby teeth.
